Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper

1 1/4 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 medium onion -- chopped
2 packages Kraft macaroni and cheese
1 teaspoon salt and pepper -- to taste
1 teaspoon garlic salt -- to taste
1/2 cup milk (to desired consistancy)

Preparation / Directions:

Cook macaroni in salted water until done. Drain. Brown hamburger with onion til brown and burger is cooked completely through. Drain off any excess grease. Season with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Stir in cheese packet from the Kraft dinner. Stir in milk. Keep adding until you like the consistancy. I'm guessing on the amount here. Stir in cooked macaroni. Heat through and serv
