Quick Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:


3 1/2 cups frozen ground beef mix

28 ounces crushed tomatoes

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup tomato paste

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 piece bay leaf

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon thyme

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 package hot cooked spaghetti
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cook frozen ground beef mix in a 3-qt. saucepan over medium-heat until thoroughly heated. Add crushed tomatoes and next 9 ingredients; stir well. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove and discard bay leaf. Serve sauce over hot cooked spaghetti.
