Ingredients:

1 1/4 Cup round steak and
1/4 pound fresh pork -- ground together
1 large egg
1/2 Cup stale bread crumbs soaked in water
1 teaspoon salt -- pepper to taste
2 tablespoons minced parsley
 

Preparation / Directions:

Mix together, shape into a loaf, and bake in a buttered pan in which is placed one-half inch of boiling water. Bake 1hr. 30 min. at 350 F. Beef loaf is also very good baked with one large can of tomatoes and one large sliced onion placed over and around it, basting the loaf from time to time with the sauce.
