Ingredients:


1 1/2 pounds round steak -- cut 1 1/2 inches thick

3 medium sized onions -- sliced

1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste

1 pint canned tomatoes

1 cup flour

1 cup suet

2 tablespoons butter or crisco
 

Preparation / Directions:


Chop steak on one side with 1 cup flour, salt and pepper. Fry suet; add 2 heaping tablespobns butter or Crisco. Brown steak very slowly for 1/2 hour on floured side. Turn steak; add tomatoes and onions; bake in 350F oven for 1 1/2 hours.
