Boston Baked Beans

Ingredients:


4 cups navy beans

4 tablespoons brown sugar

3 teaspoons salt

1 tablespoon dry mustard

1 medium Onion -- chopped

1/2 pound salt pork
 

Preparation / Directions:


Soak beans overnight. Drain, cover with fresh water. Bring to boil, simmer until tender, drain. Pour 1/2 of beans into bean pot. Combine remaining ingredients and add to pot. Pour in remaining beans. Cover with boiling water and bake 8 hours at 250F. Watch and add more water if necessary.
