Fusilli With White Beans And Swiss Chard

1 package fusilli pasta -- (16 ounce)
1 tablespoon pure olive oil
2 cloves garlic -- minced
1 bunch swiss chard -- stems trimmed, leaves chopped
1 jar marinara sauce -- (25 ounces)
1 can cannellini or great northern beans -- (16-ounces), rinsed drained
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Preparation / Directions:

Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite. Meanwhile, heat oil in heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir 1 minute. Add chard and stir just until wilted. Transfer chard to plate. Add Marinara Sauce and beans to saucepan. Bring to simmer. Drain pasta. Transfer to large bowl. Add sauce, chard and half of cheese. Toss to coat. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Makes: 4 servings This terrific vegetarian dish mimics the colors of the Italian flag--red Marinara Sauce, white beans and green Swiss chard.
