Ingredients:


1/4 cup butter or margarine

1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels

3/4 cup sugar

2/3 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs -- lightly beaten

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate morsels

1 package ice cream

---Easy Fudge Sauce

2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels

12 ounces evaporated milk

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine butter and 1 cup chocolate morsels in a heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate and butter melt. Remove from heat. Add sugar and next 5 ingredients, stirring until blended. Stir in pecans and 1/2 cup chocolate morsels. Spread mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until center is set. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into squares and serve with ice cream and warm Easy Hot Fudge Sauce. Easy Fudge Sauce: Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts and mixture comes to a boil. Add butter and vanilla, stirring until butter melts. Makes 3 cups.
