Ingredients:

4 tablespoons butter -- softened

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs -- about 24 crackers

6 ounces chocolate chips

1 cup puffed wheat cereal

10 ounces peanut butter chips

1/2 cup peanuts -- dry-roasted unsalted

14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread butter over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Pat graham cracker crumbs firmly into bottom of pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over cracker crumbs, followed by a layer each of cereal, peanut butter chips, and peanuts. Pour condensed milk evenly over top. Bake 18 to 22 minutes, or until bubbly and edges are lightly browned. Do not overbake. Remove pan to a rack, immediately loosen edges, and cut into 25 bars. With a spatula, remove bars to oiled wax paper or aluminum foil and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container or wrap well and refrigerate.
