Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Cups flour
2 Tablespoons brown sugar -- packed
1/2 Cup Margarine
2 large eggs
1/2 Cup dark corn syrup
1/2 Cup brown sugar -- packed
1/2 Cup pecans -- chopped
2 Tablespoons Margarine -- melted
1 Teaspoon vanilla
1/4 Teaspoon salt
 

Preparation / Directions:

Mix flour and brown sugar; cut in margarine. Pat into ungreased 11x71/2x1 1/2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes..Beat eggs slightly; stir in remaining ingredients. Pour overbaked layer. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool till pecan layer is slightly firm before cutting into bars.
