Ingredients:


1/2 cup brown sugar

3 cloves garlic crushed

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

3 tablespoons mustard

1/4 cup cider vinegar

3 tablespoons lemon juice

6 tablespoons olive oil
 

Preparation / Directions:


I read an article in the Boston Herald (daily newspaper) about a newly discovered marinade recipe that greatly diminishes the cancer-causing compounds on grilled food. It's the combination of these ingredients that make it work, so you can adjust them a bit to taste--just don't leave any out. The laboratory report was in a magazine called New Choices. The lab is Lawrence Livermore National Laborator
