Creamy Tarragon Asparagus - Flavorful Seasons

2 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus -- ends snapped off
1/2 cup low-fat sour cream
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
1 tablespoons tarragon
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup evaporated skim milk
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper and salt -- to taste

Preparation / Directions:

Rinse the asparagus and pat dry. Steam the spears in an asparagus steamer or in a metal steamer over boiling water for 8 minutes until tender-crisp. Meanwhile, combine all remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour the sauce over the asparagus and serve. 6 servings/Serving size: 1/2 cup
