Corn Cheese Puffs

Ingredients:


1/4 Cup butter

1 cup milk

1/2 tablespoons salt

1 cup flour

4 large eggs

1 cup grated Swiss cheese

1/2 tablespoons chili powder

1 tablespoons minced fresh basil or 1/4 t. dried

1/8 tablespoons cayenne

2 Cups corn kernels
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a samll saucepan, combine the butter, milk, and salt. Bring to a boil and remove the pan from the heat. Add the flour and stir well. The dough will form a ball, rolling off the sides of the pan. Return the pan to the heat and cook about 1 minute to dry out the dough, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the eggs, one at a time. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Grease a cookie sheet and drop teaspoons of dough onto it, leaving at least 2 inches between each puff. Bake for 25 minutes or until puffy and browned. Serve hot.
