8 slices diagonally cut italian bread slices -- (3/4-inch thick) (8 ounces)
1 spray vegetable cooking spray
1 clove garlic -- halved
4 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 bunch parsley sprigs -- (optional)

Preparation / Directions:

Prepare grill. Place bread slices on grill rack coated with cooking spray, and cook 2 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Remove from grill. Rub cut sides of garlic over one side of each bread slice, and brush with oil; sprinkle with salt. Serving Ideas : Garnish with parsley sprigs, if desired.
