3/4 pound ground beef browned
1/4 cup onion minced
4 ounces canned chopped green chilies
1/4 cup ripe olives chopped
1 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander or garlic salt
3/4 cup thick n spicy mesquite smoked bbq sauce
10 ounces flaky buttermilk biscuits
4 ounces cheddar or monterey jack cheese grated
1/2 cup sour cream optional

Preparation / Directions:

Brown ground beef and onion. Stir in chilies, olives, chili powder, coriander, and BBQ sauce; set aside. Separate each biscuit into halves and place on a baking sheet. Flatten with hands. Spoon about 1 heaping tablespoon BBQ mixture on each biscuit and top with cheese. Bake at 375 for 9-12 minutes. Top with sour cream, if desired.
