Parsley
Parsley — probably the best known of all herbs — is rich in vitamins A and C. To grow: Parsley plants grow slowly, so they should be weeded carefully until established. Will grow to a height of about 12 to 16 inches. Fare better in deep pots. Grow well indoors and outdoors. As a seasoning: There are two varieties of parsley: curly-leafed and flat-leafed, which has the stronger flavor. Use parsley as a garnish and flavoring for sauces and soups. Sprinkle it on potatoes or vegetables. |
