Scalloped Lima Beans

Ingredients:


2 Tablespoons butter or margarine

2 Tablespoons flour

1 Cup milk

2 Teaspoons grated onion -- or onion flakes

1/4 Teaspoon celery salt

1/4 Teaspoon pepper

1 Tablespoon pimento -- chopped

1 Can dried lima beans

1/2 Cup seasoned bread crumbs
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place butter in a 1 quart casserole. Microwave at high (100%) until melte= d, 30 to 45 seconds. Stir in flour. Blend in milk, onion, celery salt, salt and pepper. Micrwave at medium high (70%) untij slightjy thickened, 3 to4 minutes, stirring twice during cooking time. Stir in pimento and lima beans.Spnnkle bread crumbs over top. Microwave a= t medium high (70%) until heated, 4 to 5 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
