Oatmeal With Fruit and Nuts

Ingredients:


3 Cup water

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/3 Cup regular oatmeal

1 small apple chopped

1/4 Cup snipped dates

2 tablespoons sliced almonds

1 tablespoons brown sugar

2 2/3 Cup skim milk
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a medium saucepan combine water, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to a boil, stir in oats. Cook 5 mins. stirring occasionally. Let stand covered, till of desired consistency. Divide oatmeal among 4 bowls. Top each bowl of oatmeal with some chopped apple snipped dates sliced almonds and brown sugar. Divide milk the serving bowls.
