Speedy Tuna Melt

Ingredients:


1 can tuna -- ( 6 1/2 oz)

1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard

1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup mayo

1 1/2 teaspoons grated onion

2 tablespoons chopped green pepper

1/4 cup sliced almonds

3 pieces hamburger buns -- split

6 slices tomato

1/2 cup mayo

1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a small bowl, combine tuna, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 c. Mayo, onion, green pepper and almonds. Turn broiler on. Divide the tuna mixture equally between the 6 hamburger bun halves. Top the tuna mixture w/ a slice of tomato. Combine 1/2 c. Mayo and shredded cheese and spread on slices of tomato. Place buns on a cookie sheet. W/ oven door open, broil about 4 in. Away from heat till top is golden brown and it puffs up slightly. Approximately 5 minutes.
