Indonesian Chicken and Beef Satay

Ingredients:


2 medium chicken breasts

1 pound beef tenderloin

---MARINADE---

2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce*

1 teaspoon lemon juice

3 tablespoons hot vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon coriander

2 tablespoons hot vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce*

---INDONESIAN SOY SAUCE---

1 cup Chinese or Japanese soy sauce

1/2 cup molasses
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix together marinate and pour over bite-size pieces of meat. Let marinate for two hours. Thread bite-size portions of meat on bamboo sticks (do not use metal). Grill over charcoal coals until well done but not dry. Baste as necessary. Mix only; no cooking.
