Burrito Casserole

Ingredients:


1 pound ground beef

1 package taco seasoning - or to taste -- (6 teaspoons)

1 medium chopped onions - optional - to taste

1 can refried beans

4 tortillas flour tortillas - burrito size

1 cup grated cheese
 

Preparation / Directions:


Brown the ground beef in a medium sized skillet (brown onions here, if you want); drain. Return to skillet, add taco seasoning and refried beans; heat through. In a square pan (I used an 8x8 inch one) layer 2 tortillas, some meat and bean mixture, then some cheese. Top with another tortilla, more meat and bean mixture, then more cheese. Add another tortilla and a bit more cheese; cover with tinfoil and bake at 350F for about 25 minutes. Top with salsa and/or sour cream, if you prefer.
