Ortega Chicken Tacos

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon oil

1 pound chicken breast -- sknls, bnls

1 package taco seasoning

3/4 cup water

12 medium taco shells -- warmed

1 1/2 cups cheddar -- shredded

2 cups tomatoes -- chopped

1 1/2 cups lettuce -- shredded

1 jar taco sauce
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Brown chicken in oil over medium-high heat until no longer pink (appx. 5 minutes). Stir in seasoning mix and water. Bring to a boil. Cook over low heat 5 minutes. Fill taco shells. Top with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and taco sauce.
