Ingredients:


4 cups strawberries

1 cup water

2 cups sugar -- approximately
 

Preparation / Directions:


Makes 1 pint 1. Bring strawberries and water to a boil in saucepan. 2. Lower heat; simmer 10 minutes. 3. Pour mixture through several thicknesses of cheesecloth, pressing pulp lightly with spoon. 4. Measure juice into saucepan, adding 1 cup of sugar for each cup of juice. 5. Bring to a boil again, stirring until sugar dissolves; boil 2 minutes. 6. Skim off foam. Pour into hot, sterilized jars; seal.
