Oven Beef Stew - Manna and Memories

Ingredients:


2 pounds stew meat

2 cups potatoes -- cut in large cube

2 cups carrots

1 cup celery

1 medium Onion

2 cups tomato juice

2 tablespoons tapioca

1 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put all ingredients in large casserole; bake covered for 5 hours at 250F. The last half hour, add 1/4 cup wine.
