Preparation / Directions:In a skillet, brown hamburger and onion together. Drain fat. Combine all ingredients in a very large pot. Bring to a boil. Put lid on. Turn down to simmer. Stir occasionally. Cook for 2 hours or until the barley is cooked. This soup freezes well.
