Mushroom Soup Supreme

Ingredients:


1/2 pound fresh mushrooms -- sliced

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup sherry

4 ounces mushroom soup mix

1/2 pint whipping cream
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat butter and saute mushrooms. Add the sherry and cook for 2-3 minutes. Set aside. Prepare the soup mx according to package directions but use only 3 cups of water. When the soup comes to a boil, add the mushrooms. Simmer and stir in cream. Serve immediately.
