Hamburger Barley Soup

Ingredients:


2 stalks celery -- cut small

1 medium onion -- chopped

4 medium carrots -- scraped andcut small

3/4 cup pearl barley -- (quick O.K.) up to 1

5 medium potatoes -- peeled andcut small

1 1/2 pounds hamburger

2 package Herbox broth packages

1 teaspoon Salt/Pepper -- to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Brown hamburger in dutch oven and drain well. Put hamburger, celery, onion, carrots, broth packages, in dutch oven, add water to almost top of pot. Boil slow for about 1 hour. Add barley, potatoes, salt and pepper to taste. Cook until potatoes are done.
