Royal Barbecue Shrimp

Ingredients:


1 pound jumbo shrimp -- peeled and deveined

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 pound butter

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon lemon juice -- from 1/2 lemon

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 loaf loaf french bread -- to serve on the side
 

Preparation / Directions:


TO COOK AND SERVE: Sprinkle shrimp with 1/8 teaspoon salt. Heat butter over medium heat until just melted. Add shrimp, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, 1/2 tablespoon pepper, and 1 tablespoon water. Simmer, shaking pan constantly to keep the sauce from separating until shrimp are cooked, about 4 minutes. Serve immediately with of plenty of French bread to sop up the rich sauce.
