Basic Choux Paste

Ingredients:


1 cup water

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 cup flour

4 large egg
 

Preparation / Directions:


heat water to a boil, over a moderate flame ] add butter and stir just to melt add salt and flour all at once and stir until mixture forms a ball remove from heat, cool for 5 minutes transfer to a mixer bowl beat in eggs, one at a time, making sure each is well incorporated before adding another beat until glossy beat in another egg as necessary to give mixture body pipe onto parchment paper in desired shapes bake as desired
