Crab Pecan Delight

Ingredients:


1/2 cup celery -- chopped

2 tablespoons green onion -- chopped

1 1/2 cups pecans -- finely chopped (d divided use)

1/2 cup butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 dash garlic powder

1 pound crab meat

1 can Campbells cream of celery soup (10 oz)

3/4 cup evaporated milk

1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven to 350F Sauté celery, green onion and 1 cup pecans in 1/4 cup butter until vegetables are crisy-tender. Add salt, pepper and garlic. Stir in crab meat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add soup; gradually stir in milk. Pour into baking dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and remaining pecans: pat with remaining butter. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until brown.
