Fried Oysters

Ingredients:


24 large shucked oysters

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

2 tablespoons cold water

1 cup bread crumbs
 

Preparation / Directions:


Drain oysters. Beat eggs with seasonings, add water and mix. Dip oysters into egg mixture, then into crumbs. Let stand 5 minutes before frying. Fry in hot deep fat (375F-380F ) until brown. Serve at once.
