Kielbasa and Cabbage

Ingredients:


6 slices bacon

1 medium cabbage cut into thin wedges

1 medium onion -- chopped

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 clove garlic

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper -- to taste

1 pound kielbasa or Polish sausage cut into -- 1-inch pieces
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon, and set aside. 2. Add next 7 ingredients to drippings; cover and cook 10 minutes over medium heat, turning cabbage once. 3. Add sausage; cover and cook 5 minutes or until sausage is heated. 4. Transfer to serving dish with a slotted spoon; sprinkle with bacon.
