Seafood And Artichoke Casserole Sauce

Ingredients:


8 tablespoons butter

8 tablespoons gravy flour or sifted flour

3 cups half-and-half

2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup dry sherry or vermouth

1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper -- to taste

3/4 cup parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon parsley chopped fresh-- garnish

1/4 teaspoon paprika -- garnish
 

Preparation / Directions:


Make a cream sauce: - - Melt butter over low heat. - - Add flour. - - Blend over low heat for three to five minutes. - - Slowly stir in half-and-half. - - Blend until thick. - - Add Worcestershire sauce, sherry, and salt and pepper to taste. - - Remove from heat.
