Raifort Sauce

Ingredients:


1/4 cup prepared horseradish

1 teaspoon unsalted butter

2 teaspoons flour

1/2 cup beef stock

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon liquid hot pepper sauce

1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
 

Preparation / Directions:


combine butter and horseradish in a saucepan, over a medium flame whisk in flour until well blended vigorously whisk in broth and milk heat and whisk until smooth and thickened add cream, salt, pepper, hot pepper sauce, and nutmeg-mix well remove from heat, cool cover and chill for 4-24 hours serve slightly chilled
