Salsa Borracho For Enchiladas

Ingredients:


3 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic -- minced

4 tablespoons chili powder

4 medium jalapenos -- diced

2 cups diced tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1/2 cup beer
 

Preparation / Directions:


In non-aluminum pan, melt the butter over medium low heat. Add the garlic, chili powder, and jalapenos. Sauté‚ until the chili powder begins to foam. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 min. Remove from heat. Yield: approx. 3 cups.
