Peggy's Mom's Chili Sauce

Ingredients:


12 quarts basket of tomatoes

4 medium good sized onions

4 medium sweet peppers

4 medium hot peppers

5 medium celery stalk

3 pounds sugar

5 tablespoons salt

1 teaspoon mustard

1 dash white wine vinegar

1/4 pound whole pickling spice (in cheesecloth bag)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Chop all vegetables and put in a large pickling pot. Add remaining ingredients and boil for about 3 hours or longer if you want it thicker.
