Yam Nua (Spicy Grilled Beef Salad)

Ingredients:


600 grams Beef Sirloin

200 grams Cucumber, Sliced

1 medium Onion, Thinly Sliced

2 medium Tomatoes, Thinly Sliced

40 grams Celery Leaves

3 medium Red Chillies, Thinly Sliced

3 medium Spring Onions, Sliced

2 Tablespoon Fish Sauce

2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

1 Tablespoon Sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preparation : • Grill the sirloin steak to your liking; rest the meat for five minutes then slice in strips. • Add cucumber, onion, tomato, celery, red chillies and spring onions. • Season with fish sauce, lemon juice, sugar and serve. CHEF’S TIP: • This great salad can also be made from grilled chicken, pork or even bean curd. • Serve immediately to ensure the meat is still warm.
