Calico Skillet Salad

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons butter

1 cup coarsely chopped cabbage

1/3 cup bias-cut celery slices

1/3 cup thinly sliced carrot

2 tablespoons slivered green pepper

2 tablespoons chopped onion

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 dash pepper

3 tablespoons light cream
 

Preparation / Directions:


Melt butter in a skillet; add veggies, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over medium heat just until the veggies are slightly tender, about 3 minutes. Add the cream; heat thoroughly, stirringly gently once or twice. Garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.
