Ingredients:


2 cups short grain rice

2 cups water
 

Preparation / Directions:


rinse the rice well, drain repeat until the water runs clear combine rice and water in a saucepan let stand for 30 minutes place over a high flame cover, bring to the boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15-20 minutes remove from heat and allow to stand for 15 minutes, without removing cover remove cover and fluff with a hera or fork spoon into a chawan (bowl) serve hot
