Butterscotch Pudding 3

Ingredients:


1/4 cup cornstarch

2 cups skim milk

2 large egg yolks

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 dash salt

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 pint whipped cream

1 bar butterscotch candy bar -- crushed
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat skim milk in saucepan. Whisk in cornstarch. Whisk in eggs. Set aside. In small bowl, mix together cream, brown sugar and salt. Add to skim milk mixture. Blend well. Return saucepan to heat. Whisk, cooking over med.-hi heat until thick and bubbly. Whisk until smooth. Pour mixture through sieve in mixing bowl. Stir in vanilla. Chill and serve in glasses topped with candy bits. Approximately 20 minutes.
