Ingredients:


---FILLING:

1/4 Cup butter

1 Cup sugar

1/2 Cup water

6 Cup apples -- peeled, sliced

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 Cup flour

1 Cup sugar

1 tablespoons baking powder

1/2 Cup melted butter

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon salt

2/3 Cup milk

2 teaspoon vanilla
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Melt butter in a 9 x 13" baking pan. Stir sugar, cinnamon, and apples together and place in a pan. Pour water over apple mixture. Cover with topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. TOPPING: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Beat with mixer for 2 minutes until smooth. Spread mixture evenly over the apples to cover.
