Tomato And Herb Pork Chops

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons watkins seasoning salt

1 teaspoon watkins basil

1/2 teaspoon watkins thyme

1/4 teaspoon watkins black pepper

6 chops pork chops -- 3/4 inch thick

1 tablespoon watkins original grapeseed oil

1 medium onion -- sliced and separated into rings

1 1/2 cups water

1/4 cup watkins tomato soup base
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine flour, seasoning salt, basil, thyme, and black pepper in plastic bag. Add pork chops and shake until well coated. Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Brown chops on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside. Pour off any grease. In same skillet add onions, water, and tomato soup base. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to boil and thicken. Return pork chops to skillet. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until pork chops are tender, turning occasionally. To serve, place pork chops on platter and spoon sauce and onions over top. Makes 6 servings.
