Down South Pork Barbecue

Ingredients:


5 pound pork roast

2 large onion--sliced

6 whole cloves

2 cups water

1 bottle barbecue sauce of your choice -- (16 oz.)

1 large onion--chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place half the sliced onion in the bottom of a crockpot. Add meat, cloves and water. Add remaining sliced onion. Cover and cook overnight or 8-12 hours on low. Remove bone and fat from meat. Discard onions,cloves and water. Shread the meat and put it back in the pot. Add chopped onion and the barbecue sauce. Cook another 1-3 hours on high or 4-8 on low, stirring several times. Serve on large buns. If your sause has alot of sugar in it, stir more freqently to prevent burning.
