Preparation / Directions:Preheat oven to 375.
Cream shortening and sugar. Mix in egg, milk, and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Drop by teaspoonful on a cookie sheet, flatten with the bottom of a glass and and bake for 8 minutes. Cool and put filling between cakes.
Makes 3 dozen pies.
