Never Failing Pie Crust

Ingredients:


1 cup lard

2/3 cup boiling water

3 cups flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put lard into bowl and pour over it the boiling water. Measure flour, salt, and baking powder into sifter and sift into bowl of hot water and melted lard. Stir with a spoon until a stiff dough is made. Set away to cool. Never use while hot. Will keep a week if kept in a cool place.
