Ingredients:


1 cup sifted all purpose flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 large egg yolk

1/4 cup soft butter
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine flour, sugar, lemon peel and vanilla. Make a well in the center; add theegg yolk and butter. With fingertips, mix until dough leaves the sides of the bowl. Roll into a ball, cover with wax paper and refrigerate one hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease the pan. Roll the dough to fit your pan and bake 8-10 minutes or until golden. This makes enough dough for a 9 inch springform pan, going up the sides three-quarters.
