Spanish Pickles

Ingredients:


1 pound Brown sugar

1/2 ounce Turmeric

2 tablespoon White mustard seed

1 tablespoon Celery seed

1 tablespoon Cinnamon

6 Medium Green peppers

6 Medium Red peppers

6 large Onions

6 Medium Cucumbers

2 medium Cabbage

1/2 Medium green tomatoes

1/2 Medium Red tomatoes

2 quart Vinegar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Chop all vegetables. Sprinkle with salt. Let stand overnight. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Cook slowly until vegetables are tender.
