Pickled String Beans

Ingredients:


4 quart String beans, fresh or canned

1 cup Sugar

1 quart Vinegar

2 Tablespoon Mixed spices
 

Preparation / Directions:


Prize winning recipe Wash fresh string beans. Remove strings. Cover with water to which 1/2 teaspoon salt has been added per quart. Cook until tender. Cover with a pickling sirup made of vinegar, sugar, and spices. Boil 10 minutes.
