Peanut Butter Crisps

Ingredients:


3 cups quick-cooking oats

3/4 cup light brown sugar -- firmly packed

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup corn oil margarine

1 cup creamy peanut butter
 

Preparation / Directions:


Makes 18 squares 1. Thoroughly combine oats, sugar and salt; set aside. 2. Melt margarine in a small saucepan; add to oat mixture and mix well. 3. Firmly pack one half of mixture into a 11 x 7-inch baking pan. 4. Melt creamy peanut butter; spread evenly over oats. 5. Cover with remaining oat mixture, packing gently; bake in preheated 350 F. oven 25 to 30 minutes. 6. Let cool almost completely before cutting.
