Fruit Kugel

Ingredients:


2 pounds flat noodles

8 cups boiling salted water

1/2 cup margarine or corn oil

2 medium apples -- peeled and cored and chopped

1/2 cup raisins

3 large eggs -- beaten

1 tablespoon sugar -- (optional)

1 tablespoon cinnamon-sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender, about 10 minutes; drain. 2. Place noodles, margarine, apples and raisins in large bowl; add eggs and sugar, mixing thoroughly. 3. Spoon into greased 10 x 8-inch baking dish; sprinkle generously with cinnamon-sugar. 4. Bake in preheated 375 F. oven 30 minutes, or until top is brown and crisp.
