Pancakes that look like crapes and taste like apple sauce. mmmmm.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup white flour

1/2 cup brown flour

1/4 cup apple sauce

1 large whole egg

4 tablespoons yogurt greek No fat

1 cup water (or as much as you think you need)

3/4 medium banana (soft and mushy one is really sweet).

Preparation / Directions:

In a blender on high speed (I used a Magic Bullet)for about 5 minutes (use your judgement) until smooth. I had to take a spoon and scrape the sides of the blender to get all the flour off. The pancakes are about the size of the bottom of a drinking glass. Not big at all. Toppings: handful of dark chocolate chips; any fruit chopped up; brown sugar; brown surgar with a 1/2 spoon of cinimon; even apple sauce is good. It's easy to just add a bit of syrup, too.

Nutritional Information:

I'm not a nutritional expert. However, I'm going to say the above pancakes are a better alternative to the boxed white pancakes. I've lost over 20 pounds in 5 months by eating healthy and excercising, so my gut feelings about food are good. The white flour could be replaced by whole wheat, but, I don't think it would taste as good. The kids liked it and they're my biggest critics. Enjoy!
